Loriana, a 2022 filly, is our future sports horse and promising youngster. She is by world number 4 jumping sire Zirocco Blue out of the talented 5yo mare, Oriana FZ, who has a bright future in the competition ring. Loriana stems from the famous damline of Papillon Rouge, which is full of VDL bred horses.

The dam of Oriana FZ, Bolivia VDL, is sister to the approved stallion Glenfiddich VDL who unfortunately passed away at a young age. Oriana FZ is currently competing in the age classes and qualified for the 5yo Italian Championship finals in 2023. Oriana’s sisters are also showing loads of promise and talent in the show ring.

Loriana was moved to Holland and enjoys growing up together with other foals of the same age. We will monitor her growth and determine her path over the next few years, aiming for age classes and mare approvals if we feel she is ready. Until then she will be spending her time in the lush fields, being a horse and growing up in the best possible environment.
