Unathi D.J (Uriko x Clearway x Caretano)
Unathi is a super colt by Uriko out of the mare Claire de Lune 19 (Clearway x Carentano x Roman). He is a friendly, correct and well-built colt that we are super proud of.
Claire herself competed at 1.35m level before retiring to stud and is sister to two 1.50m horses, with a damline full of top sports horses, including numerous 1.50m and 1.60m CSI horses. Well known stallions from this damline include Comthago VDL (under the saddle of Marlon Modolo Zanotelli) and the 2011 Holstein Approval Champion, Cositino.
Claire’s first foal is currently competing successfully at 1.30m level in the 8yo age classes and he second foal has started in sport, showing tremendous scope and talent.
Uriko (by Untouchable), the sire of this embryo also needs no introduction. He is well-known as the sire of many top performance horses such as:
Paris Olympic and Dutch National Team horse, Uricas v/d Kattevennen with Harrie Smolders,
Bull Run's Jireh competing successfully at 1.60m level by Kristen Vanderveen in the USA
Uriga VA competing at CSIO3* Nations Cup with Diarmuid Howley
Charisma HS jumping with Richard Vogel in 2019 and now with Sergio Alvares Moya (ESP) at international level.
Unathi has been sold to a top sports home where he will receive the best possible chance of making it in the sport. We look forward to one day seeing Unathi in the show jumping ring.
